U18 Northland Men's and Women's 2023 registration for trials
Hockey Northland would like to encourage all eligible players to register for the U18 Men's and Women's open trials. If you have already registered for the U18 Taniwha Programme, or have already registered your interest to play U18s by competing the Northland NHC and U18 Indication of Interest 2023 - Information Evening you will automatically be deemed to have registered for the U18 trials and do not need to register here.
The Northland U18 Men's hockey team will be competing in the Vantage National U18 Tournament that will be held in Dunedin from the 2nd - 8th July.
The Northland Women's hockey team will be competing in the Vantage National U18 Tournament that will be held in Auckland from the 2nd - 8th July.
There is an expectation that players are available to attend team trainings and play in pre tournament games. There will be a Northern Region Kings Birthday U18 Tournament - LEP Auckland - Sunday and Monday 4 & 5 June.
If there are also sufficient numbers from the registrations, there may be the potential to put together development teams to train and play against other association teams in the Northern Region.

Trial dates: Sunday 21st May Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm
U18 Women Head Coach: Richard Storey
Trial dates: Sunday 14th May Time: 5.00pm-7.00pm Sunday 21st May Time: 9.00am-11.00am
U18 Eligibility Criteria:
1. Players who are affiliated to Hockey Northland in 2023 2. Northland Province of Origin players who have met the 2023 HNZ Tournament Rules 3. Players who fit the HNZ U18 age criteria - Under 18 at the 1/1/23 - 15 & over at the 1/1/23 Please note any players who play in the U18 tournament are not eligible to play in any other age group festival/tournaments.
