13 Taitokerau players named New Zealand Maori Team After the finals of the recent National Maori tournament held in Whangarei 13 Taitokerau players were named in the New Zealand Maori teams. In the Men's team are Rob Nichol, Dwayne Rowsell, Josh Rapana, Sam Webb, Tama Jones and Cameron Hellier. In the Women's Team are Jacinda McLeod, Alana Millington, Jasmin McQuinn, Rhiannon Buchanan, Tracy Martin, Natasha Fitzsimmons and Sam Harrison.

Taitokerau Men win National Maori Tournament Title The National Men's and Women's Maori Hockey Tournament held in Whangarei over Labour weekend was won by the Taitokerau Men's team. They beat Waiariki 4 - 2. The Taitokerau Women's side came second loosing to Tamaki 0 - 2 in a hard fort final.

New Zealand U16 Tiger Turf win Congratulations to Rachael Lecky, Jade McLeod and Brooke Neal who were members of the New Zealand U16 Girl's Tiger Turf team who have just played in a 3 game series verses the Queensland U16 Girls team. Their results combined with the U16 Boy's side were enough to win the Tiger Turf Sheild. more -->

Shay Neal named in Blacksticks Squad Northland Hockey would like to congratulate Shay Neal for his inclusion in the Blacksticks Men's squad of 23 named yesturday. Shay a Northlander who is attending Auckland Grammer has played for the North Harbour men's side for the last two seasons has earned his place through consistant performances at NHL level.
